Bioactivity of Mupirocin Nanoparticle-Loaded Hydrogel against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

نویسندگان

چکیده

This novel study investigated the loading of mupirocin nanoparticles into a hydrogel which was expected to enhance antibacterial activity mupirocin. The inhibition isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase and global gene expression in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) by nanoparticle-loaded (MLH) pure compared. MLH rapidly inhibited growth bacterial populations after 1 h treatment. At 12 h, MRSA. Transcriptome profiles MRSA showed that alterations treatment with were similar those at MICs. These included changes DNA transcription, translation, replication pathways, fold these genes decreased more than only released from systems then drug permeated cell wall bound synthetase. research also could be further developed for use clinics infected wounds.

Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Staphylococcus aureus is responsible for a broad range of clinical infections, most notable of which are cases of bacteremia and endocarditis. Staphylococcus aureus is an important cause of serious infections in both hospitals and the community. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) were first reported in 1961 and the first hospital outbreak of MRSA was reported in 1963. When MRSA ...

Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Staphylococcus aureus is an opportunistic pathogen often carried asymptomatically on the human body. Methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) includes those strains that have acquired a gene giving them resistance to methicillin and essentially all other beta-lactam antibiotics. MRSA was first reported in 1961, soon after methicillin was introduced into human medicine to treat penicillinresistant...

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

MRSA was isolated from pus, urine, breast discharge, blood culture, cerebrospinal fluid, and ascetic fluid [2]. The extensive use of antibiotics over the last 50 years has led to the emergence of bacterial resistance and to the dissemination of resistance genes among pathogenic organisms [3]. In addition, since few cells in a population might actually express resistance, these heterogeneous str...

Mupirocin Resistance in Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus

Mupirocin is the topical antimicrobial agent which is used for the treatment of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). However the prevalence of mupirocin resistance in MRSA has increased with the extensive and widespread use of this agent in hospital settings. The present study was attempted to evaluate the low level and high level resistance to mupirocin in MRSA isolates by diffe...
